Her Campus's New Book

Disclosure: Thank you to Her Campus for providing me with a copy for review! All opinions are my own.

Being a member of the Her Campus Blogger Network, I love Her Campus. It's such a fun, helpful, resourceful site for any collegiettes. When I found out that its three founders -- Stephanie, Annie, and Windsor -- were writing a book, I was so excited and couldn't wait to get my hands on it!

The Her Campus Guide to College Life: How to Manage Relationships, Stay Safe and Healthy, Handle Stress, and Have the Best Years of Your Life is a practical investment whether you're a freshman in high school or a senior in college. The book contains five different parts -- staying safe in college, staying healthy on campus, developing smart and successful relationships, building a balanced social life, and managing your money and career -- to make nineteen chapters total.

My favorite part of the book is definitely the fifth part: managing your money and career. It covers topics such as applying for scholarships, making money during the school year, looking for internships, and landing jobs. I'm the type of gal who loves to have everything planned out in front of her, and my future is extremely important to me. I found all of the tips in this part to be really informational and handy, especially the part of earning money while in school because I definitely don't want to be the stereotypical broke college girl!

I love that the guide contains literally every aspect of college that every girl thinks about, from partying to studying to eating healthy. As a high school senior who is graduating in just a month and a half (eek!!!), this book is so helpful for me because I'm both excited and nervous for my next four years of college. It answered any question that I could have possibly had, and it makes me feel more comfortable going to a college next year where I will know almost no one.

I definitely suggest that any girl who will be attending college should read this book. I know so much more now about college than I did before I read it, and I definitely plan on rereading it at the end of the summer to refresh my mind. Buy the book here: http://fave.co/1NROXEq
